Sorry for the lack up Gossip Girl updates over the past couple of days but that little thing called life sort of got in the way. Gossip Girl Chat is a one woman show so I do the best I can to keep you up to date on all the latest Gossip Girl news. So, with my pitiful apology out of the way, I thought I’d make it up to you by posting some episode 6 spoilers.

“The Handmaiden’s Tale”

Masquerade Ball, anyone?

Dan is torn between two girls when his childhood friend, Vanessa, returns home and declares her feelings for him, just as he and Serena are trying to figure out what they mean to each other. At the infamous masked ball, Blair sends Nate on a scavenger hunt, but Nate is ultimately still distracted by his feelings for Serena. Although Blair makes it perfectly clear that outsiders are not welcome, a disguised Jenny and Dan sneak into the ball. Finally, Lily asks Rufus to accompany her to an Eleanor Waldorf event in order to make Bart Bass jealous.

Raise your hand if you’re ready for some Vanessa? Me me me me!

Oh BOY! You’re right, this looks like a great episode. I hadn’t thought about the possibility of Nate mistaking Jenny for Serena. *is intrigued*

Vanessa doesn’t look anything like I imagine her from the books, but then neither does Jenny, so… She’s a beautiful girl!

I’m ready for some Vanessa. It’s weird, because how I pictured Vanessa in my head, despite what they said she looked like, is just the way this chick looks.

Spring, I could never picture Vanessa with a shaved head so everytime it was brought up that she was bald I was like, huh? Oh yeah, she has no hair.

Ran, I was wondering if they would dip into the whole Jenny/Nate storyline from the books and it looks like they might. Poor Blair! The girl just can’t win.

ive never read the books but im so intrigued! i cant decide who i want serena to be with… i love her anyways. urgh cant stand blair. i think her and chuck would hit it off.
