   vanessa is supposed to be bald and have really pale skin. they’re screwing up the books.

   If you haven’t noticed, they’re not completely following the books.

   If they did, then you can have your bald vanessa… AND a pothead Nate, and Serena/Dan would be a short lived romance.

   They can’t follow the exact story line of the books because it would give the wrong image to teenagers, like Nate always being stoned and Blair puking….

   They aren’t following the exact character descriptions in the book because…..the book’s Vanessa character would be way too ugly to put on t.v. Plus, it wouln’t be believable that a gorgeous guy like Dan would be in love with a bald, pale chick. Jessica Szohr is beautiful. Whomever says she isn’t, is blind and jealous. Look at her flawless complexion and piercing blue eyes. Also, Jenny’s character has a d chest- you aren’t going to find very many 16 with DD’s.

   i’m french and i’m waiting for the adapted program in french, but seeing the pics i’m a bit desappointed she’s not like i expect, but i must admit that she is so cute…whithout nate stoned and blair puking it’s not the same story,however,i agree, they must show the example.
