The gang throws a secret pool party at school. When things turn ugly, everyone agrees to keep the night a secret. A new recurring character is introduced in this episode; Elise is a 14-year-old nerdy girl who will take her place at the bottom of the Gossip Girls’ ladder. Rufus gets news that’ll make him chipper all day long. Later, a woman named Bryn will ask him out after purshasing a painting. Bex, the art dealer from an earlier episode, drops by the gallery and also flirts with Rufus. Blair and Chuck’s secret gets out and Blair believes Serena told Dan who told Jenny who told the world!
