It’s early, Serena’s walking down the street leaving Dan a message; she’s left him a bunch of messages already and she’s been up all night, she says. She says, “I’m coming over.”
Rufus and Lily wake up together. Lily gets a phone call - it’s Bart. He wants to know why she didn’t come home; she says it’s because they’re not supposed to see each other on the day of the wedding. Bart wants to meet her in an hour.
Blair and Chuck wake up together, too. They were up late plotting against Georgina and fell asleep; they “fight” and Blair pushes him out of the room and slams the door.
Nate is in the park jogging with his dad. His dad gets a call - he says it’s his sponsor, and Nate gives him some space. It sounds like a drug dealer is supposed to meet him after the wedding ceremony.
Serena shows up at Dan’s and finds Georgina spent the night. Georgina says she thought it was over with D & S, the way Dan was talking. S flips out and calls Georgina a manipulative psycho bitch (finally)! G leaves and S tells Dan the whole story. Dan says he wishes she’d told him sooner, he says it’s a lot to take. S wants them to fix things. Dan has something he wants to tell her (about last night with Georgina) but Serena doesn’t want to know.
Dan calls Blair…
Lily and Bart meet at one of his buildings, the first one he ever bought. She says there is comfort in revisiting things we loved when we were young. He says he thinks maybe he should sell this building, even though he loved it, because he thinks it may be holding him back. He asks her what she thinks, should he let it go? She says yes. He says, I agree, now can you do the same for me? She says yes. The issue they’re really talking about is Lily & Rufus (Bart isn’t stupid); essentially, she says she’ll let Rufus go for Bart. They never discuss Rufus directly.
Dan and Blair and plotting…Dan says “I don’t normally do plots against people” and Blair is like, “Relax, virgin, I’ll talk you through it.” D calls Georgina and says he’s sorry about all the stuff with Serena, makes a reference to last night, and says he really wants to see her. They set up a meeting in the park. It looks like Georgina was heading out of town in her limo and she tells the driver to turn around…when they meet, Dan confronts her about everything that Serena told him. Georgina says Serena is just mad, and that there’s something real between D and G, she says “I know you feel it too…how else do you explain last night?” Georgina is mad that Dan is going back to Serena, she’s like, “You’re just going to leave me all alone?” and then we hear Blair’s voice…she says no, not alone, and we see that Blair has Georgina’s parents with her. They’re very upset with her for a number of reasons, including the fact that she was supposed to be on the equestrian circuit and she “sold her show pony for cocaine” etc…her parents are sending her to a “boot camp for troubled girls” that Blair was kind enough to find for her. Georgina is horrified. Blair says, “Haven’t you heard? I’m the crazy bitch around here” and Georgina is off to reform school!
Rufus is surprised to find out that the wedding was still on. Dan tells Rufus that the reason Lily stayed away is because Serena asked her to. Rufus thanks Dan.
Jenny made Vanessa a dress for the wedding. (Did you like it?)
Arriving at the wedding, Blair sees Chuck and starts telling him about what happened with Georgina. C wants her to save him a dance, she kicks him and walks away. She says now that Georgina is done so are they!
Nate and his dad arrive at the wedding. Chuck and the Captain greet each other but Nate and Chuck don’t speak. Nate’s dad says “Whoever she is, she’s not worth it” and reminds them that they’ve been friends all their lives.
A little later, C sees Nate’s dad’s deal go down. C tells someone to keep an eye on Mr. Archibald…(more)
Rufus shows up as Lily is about to walk down the aisle. He offers to call off the wedding if she wants him to. He says they can figure out how to make their relationship work. She decides to marry Bart.
Dan and Serena talk. He tells her he didn’t sleep with Georgina but he may as well have. The ceremony is about to start…
There’s a little delay, but Lily walks down the aisle. Serena is in tears because of what she just found out.
After the ceremony:
S is upset with Dan.
Chuck’s spy tells him something about nate’s dad, and Chuck goes to tell Nate. He lets him know his dad is leaving and Nate’s like he probably just forgot his cell phone or something, and N is mad at Chuck for spying, etc. Chuck tells him what he saw that looked like a drug deal. C also says “I know you hate me, I was in love with Blair and I’m sorry, but we don’t have time to argue about this.”
N goes outside and catches his dad before he leaves. His dad explains that it wasn’t a drug deal, it was a passport so he can skip town. He’s facing 25 years in prison and it isn’t looking good. The captain tells Nate “I need you to step in and be the man of the family for your mother.” Nate punches him, saying that’s from Mom. C sees everything happen. Nate’s dad leaves.
Nate tells Chuck thanks and they both say they’re sorry for everything. N says, “So you said you loved her. Never heard you say that before, about anyone.”
Chuck goes inside to do the best man toast.
Meanwhile, Serena and Dan are talking. Serena knows Dan hooked up with Georgina but she wants to let it go, she doesn’t want to break up. Dan says maybe I want to break up with you because of all the lies. They break up.
Chuck starts his toast. He begins talking about his father, and how his father is a man that goes after what he wants. (Chuck drops the notecards he had written his speech on, and continues talking while looking at Blair.) He talks about his father’s courtship of Lily and the main themes are perseverence and forgiveness. Lily had forgiveness for Bart, and Chuck hopes he can find someone who’ll do the same for him someday. (Looking at Blair.)
A little later, B says to Chuck, “That was quite a speech” and they start dancing. He says he was inspired in the moment.
Chuck says to Blair, “You don’t belong with Nate…never have, never will” and they kiss.
Chuck says “Let’s take it slow this time, do it right.”
Blair replies, “Chuck Bass is a romantic, who knew?”
He says, “Now you do, that’s all that matters.”
Dan and Serena are put together for a photo op, they’re uncomfortable since they just broke up. They dance and have their picture taken. After a little while, Serena says “The photographer’s gone, you can let go now” and Dan says he doesn’t want to let go. They stay together on the dance floor for a long time and are the last to leave.
One week later…
Rufus is on tour. Jenny calls him as she opens an envelope from Parsons School of Design. She’s excited because she got an internship she really wanted, and it’s with Blair’s mom Eleanor Waldorf.
Blair is off to Tuscany with Chuck. She tells Serena, “He brings out the worst in me and I think I bring out the best in him” as she smiles thinking about him. Serena hasn’t talked to Dan since the wedding.
Nate and Chuck are on the phone talking, C asks Nate what happened with “Punky Brewster” (Vanessa). Nate says he just has a lot going on right now and hasn’t been hanging out with her.
Later, Serena and Nate bump into each other on the street. They talk about how they both want to spend some time getting away, taking a break from everything, etc. They start to walk away…then S turns around and says if you want to reflect on things together, I’ll be around. Nate’s like, what are you doing right now?
B meets a guy at the helipad where she’s waiting for Chuck. They talk about how they both like the jumpseat because they like to feel in control. Chuck is late. Chuck wanted to see his dad before leaving, since Bart is just getting back into town from his honeymoon.
At their suite, Bart has a strangely serious talk with Chuck about his best man speech and his relationship with Blair. Chuck is bothered when the word “feelings” come up, and Bart discusses responsibility, ending his partying and womanizing lifestyle, growing up, etc. Chuck eyes Amelia, the decorator who walks in with Lily. He tosses a bouquet of roses into the wastebasket except for one red rose that he gives to Amelia…Amelia says who are you? Chuck says, “I’m Chuck Bass.”
Blair calls him, he doesn’t answer. C tells her a lie about why he can’t make it…Blair gets in the helicopter with the guy she met.
Nate and Serena hang out together and look happy. Dan and Vanessa are hanging out, too, and they also look happy.

yeah Chuck was an ass! why did he do that? everything was giong to be perfect
I also hated that Lily dindn’t end up with rufus, Serena was ridiculous for asking her mom not to be with him, she wouldn’t have done the same! And is she going to be with Nate? They don’t match at all.

I hated it when S & D broke up. My favorite scene (well, one of them) was when B defeated G and said “Haven’t you heard? I’m the crazy bitch in town” LOL I was so happy G got what she deserved. I loved it when B & C got together…but then he had to start chasing after Amelia…-.- I don’t think V’s dress was that bad actually. Except…it might have been a bit…colorful…xD
Can’t wait for Season 2 <3
