Well, I sat through some seriously annoying View women to get to the good stuff, the Gossip Girl guys. They spend a lot of time on the fact that Ed Westwick is British and does a good American accent as Chuck. These guys must get so tired of discussing the same old stuff all the time!
Here they are, enjoy:
Buddy TV’s Meghan Carlson tackles this issue:
College admissions time—it’s a stressful time for any high school senior. It’s also a time when you’re forced to make choices that will change the course of your entire life. On last night’s episode, “You’ve Got Yale,” Blair, Serena and Dan all grapple with big anxieties about the changes that go along with college: Blair’s got a case of Senioritis (and a tad of an entitlement issue) that threaten her dead-set hopes on Yale, Serena tries to decide which Ivy is the best fit for her, and she and Dan both worry about how choosing different colleges will affect—or possibly end—their relationship.
The thing is, I’m less worried about the characters attending the right school and being happy where they end up. I have faith that the Gossip Girl writers won’t force Blair into a community college, or send Serena following Dan to New Haven to salvage their already ailing relationship. That just wouldn’t fit their characters. Blair will either end up at Yale, or change her mind and go somewhere else—she’s just not one to settle. And, while I’d love to be happy for her, what I’m worried about is how going off in all these different directions next season will affect Gossip Girl as we know it.

Spinoff to ‘Gossip Girl’ is in the works
It’s the biggest mystery on the CW’s “Gossip Girl” this season: Not whether Lily and Rufus will find their love child but whether the show will launch a spinoff.
After months of, well, gossip, the show’s creators/producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, are proceeding with a spinoff that will serve as a prequel to the sophomore drama and chronicle the wild teen years of Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford) in Los Angeles in the 1980s.
The network has ordered a pilot for the project, which will air as a “Gossip” episode May 11. The 1980s world will be introduced in flashbacks tied to the episode’s story line.
What do you think? Does it sound interesting to you?
It was nice to see Nate in like two scenes in last night’s episode. He is so underused!
OMG how much do you HATE Jack Bass? And poor Blair, she’s finally had enough. Will he try to get her back, or forget about her? I believe Chuck is supposed to become involved with a Read the rest of this entry »
So what do you think about Aaron’s departure from the show? Are you glad to see him out of Serena’s life? Or did he make it interesting for you? Did you want to see Serena and Dan back together again?
